Treatment day 18

Today has been an interesting day. Beth had her 18th treatment today...7 to go! Something the doctors have talked to her about since the very beginning is that she will have a temporary colostomy bag. Obviously a necessary thing, but still not a fun thing. Especially for someone her age. Today she was having a difficult time with this. It amazes me how much of this battle is a mental battle. Of course the physical is obvious, the mental is just as intense. I do believe the human mind is a powerful thing. Please pray that she has peace about everything coming up in the next few months. Pray that she is given strength, both physically and mental to withstand the rest of this fight. When she can't stand on her own, please pray that people are placed in her path that will say uplifting words and speak words of encouragement. We still have a long road ahead of us, but we are up for the challenge! As always, thank you...

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6)
